How to use LS Pay
Once LS Pay has been set up, the app is easy to use. Simply use the POS as normal, then select the payment associated with LS Pay.
How to accept payment
Select the payment method, and then enter the amount that is to be charged. The authorization is then sent to the LS Pay app, which processes the request through the EFT terminal.
Once the request has been processed, you are redirected to LS Express. If the request was approved, you are asked if you wish to print the merchant receipt.
If, however, the request was not approved, you are redirected to the payment method list and a notification will inform you why the request wasn't approved.
How to void a payment
- Open the Total Balance from the LS Express POS.
Select the payment, and tap Delete. The void request is then sent to the LS Pay app, which processes the request through the EFT terminal.
Once the request has been processed, you return to the LS Express POS and a notification informs you weather the payment was voided or not.
How to issue a refund
Issuing a refund is as simple as just providing a negative number when you select a payment:
- Add an item to the POS, and change the quantity to a negative value, or return items through the sales history.
- Once your sale has a negative balance, invoke the pay action on the POS, and select your LS Pay payment method.
- Verify that the amount is correct and negative. The refund request is then sent to the LS Pay app and processed like a regular payment transaction.
