How to: Configure Item Tracking

1. Create a new item in LS Express.

2. Navigate to the Item Tracking fast tab and choose the Item Tracking Code.

   

   Note: Adding a tracking code might not be possible if the item has existing sales history.

How to: Use Item Tracking in POS

1. In the Point of Sale (POS), add an item to the sale that has item tracking configured.

2. Go to the sales line and click on Item Tracking Lines. This action opens a new window.

   

3. Enter the Serial No. or Lot No., along with the Quantity (Base) , before finalizing the payment.

   

How to: Block Item Tracking Sale to Walk-in Customers

You can block item tracking sale to walk-in customer so that the customer is not allowed to purchase item with item tracking.

 

1. Open the LS Express Administration page.

2. Locate and enable the Block Item Tracking sale to walk-in customers toggle.

   

3. You will receive a notification when finalizing the sale in POS while adding items with item tracking.
