Customers
In LS Express, a customer can be either walk-in customer or named customer. Each named customer must be registered on a Customer card.

To create a new customer, open the Customers page.

The Customer cards contain essential information necessary for buying, refunding, and posting to the customer's account. This information includes general details, invoicing, and payment information. Additionally, you can monitor the customer's balance, balance due, and credit limit.
To associate a customer with a sale, you can use either the "My Customers" or "All Customers" Shortcuts from the Point of Sale (POS) and select the relevant customer.
Please note that when you purchase an item and make an exact cash payment, the system will automatically post the invoice when you enable the background payment posting. This process applies to all payment methods, including cash, credit card, or gift card, ensuring a seamless wholesale transaction when buying and posting payments together.
Alternatively, if you purchase an item and post it to a customer's account, the Posted Sales Invoice will be linked to the customer's account once the sale is finalized. This allows for clear tracking of transactions and customer balances.
