Items

In LS Express, the items are the sale of goods or services from a business to a customer. Each item must be registered on an Item code.

• To add a new Item, navigate to the Items page and select a template for the new item.

  

• To quickly find specific item details, use the Advanced Search tab and enter the item barcode in the Item input field. Press enter, and the Item card with the relevant details will open.

  Note: The item list advanced search is enabled by default.

   

  Alternatively, you can find the item by scrolling through the item list.

  

• The Item cards contain essential information related to the item, including its description, sales price, vendor details, base unit of measure for inventory storage, and options for Gift Card and Shopify functionality.

  

• You can also utilize the Filtered Item Group fast tab to group items of your choice for quicker item entry in the Point of Sale (POS). In the Sales Profile card on the Administration page, add a filtered item list in the Filtered Item Group fast tab. You can list up to 8 filtered item group. For instance, you can create a list of Popular Items.

  

• These customized lists will be visible in the Shortcuts menu in the POS, enabling easy access for the POS users to find and select items quickly during sales transactions.
