How to: Connect LS Express and Shopify

Create a Shopify account

The first step is to create a new Shopify Account or sign up for a free 14-day trial at the Shopify website.

How to: Configure Your Shopify account

To securely connect LS Express to Shopify, you need to follow the steps below to create credentials in Shopify:

 

1. Log in to the Shopify Admin page of your store, e.g. https://<storename>.myshopify.com/admin. In the menu on the left, click Apps.

   

2. Then click Develop apps at the top of the page.

   

3. Click Create an app.

   

4. Enter a name for the app (e.g. LSEtest) and email (your primary email).

   

5. Set all modules to Read and write access if available. Otherwise, set to Read access.

   

6. Click Save at the bottom right corner.

7. Click Install app in the API credentials Action bar to get your Admin API access token.

   

8. Once installed, the API access token is generated. Copy this value as you will need them in the LS Express - Shopify Setup wizard.

   

   Important: Copy and save your Admin API access token in a secure place as it is generated only once.
