Staff

To use the Point of Sale, at least one staff member must be registered. You can access the staff list from the menu.

 

To create a new staff member, follow these steps:

  • Open the Staff page.

  • Click on New to add a new staff member.

  • Each staff member must have an identification number. The system stores essential information about the staff members, including their ID number, name, and password.

  • Depending on the staff member's role or level, specific permissions can be authorized to handle Point of Sale functionalities. For example, some staff members may be allowed to block discounts or price adjustments, while others may be restricted from processing returns and handling negative quantity items.

  • Furthermore, staff members can personalize their profiles by adding a Staff Picture. They can import an image or take a picture directly (if the device allows). The staff picture will only be visible on the screen when staff members log in to the Point of Sale system.
