In LS Express, the "Start and End of Day" activities are crucial for managing daily sales and cash operations. These activities are typically performed by store managers or cashiers at the beginning and end of each business day to ensure accurate sales records, reconcile cash, and prepare for the next day's operations. Here's how these activities are carried out:

• Store Sales Overview: To review sales number and cash information for any given period of time and given criteria of drawers and/or staff members.

   

• Close Out Summaries: To review sales numbers, count, and reconcile the cash in each drawer for a specific period of time and based on specific drawer and/or staff criteria.

   

• Close Out: A step-by-step wizard that guides store managers or cashiers through the process of counting the cash from each drawer and performing the close out at the end of the day.
